Students in Grades K-8 use a variety of art mediums to create two and three-dimensional art. Our school regularly displays student art in the school and art exhibits.

Children may participate in a variety of drama activities in our school and church through our annual church Christmas production, and our preschool presents a Christmas program in December.  K-8 students may participate in school musical presentations (grade levels vary from year to year).

Music, Choir, and Band

Music class in Grades K-4 is focused on listening, playing, singing, and dancing/moving. Students in Grades K-4 participate in choir and students in Grades 5-8 have opportunities for band and vocal choirs. Performances include church worship, chapel, school musicals, and other concerts.

Preschool-Grade 8 children work
together in multi-age groups to
construct STEM projects and
participate in science labs,
coding and robotics.
Academic Team
Students in Grades 7-8 compete against other Lutheran schools in a quiz game competition that tests players on a variety of academic subjects.
Our team finished
the LSAM state
meet Silver Bracket
in February 2019.

Our middle school schedule features an array of enrichment classes known as “electives”. Students choose a different elective class each quarter that provides a unique opportunity for learning and service projects.

Chess Club
Our school sponsors a Chess Club in the CYC program. Our team is comprised of 3rd-8th graders who compete against children (at same age levels) from other CYC chess teams.
