Art
Students in Grades K-8 use a variety of art mediums to create two and three-dimensional art. Our school regularly displays student art in the school and art exhibits.
Drama

Children may participate in a variety of drama activities in our school and church through our annual church Christmas production, and our preschool presents a Christmas program in December.  K-8 students may participate in school musical presentations (grade levels vary from year to year).

Music, Choir, and Band

Music class in Grades K-4 is focused on listening, playing, singing, and dancing/moving. Students in Grades K-4 participate in choir and students in Grades 5-8 have opportunities for band and vocal choirs. Performances include church worship, chapel, school musicals, and other concerts.

Academic Team
Students in Grades 7-8 compete against other Lutheran schools in a quiz game competition that tests players on a variety of academic subjects.

Electives

Our middle school schedule features an array of enrichment classes known as “electives”. Students choose a different elective class each quarter that provides a unique opportunity for learning and service projects.

Chess Club
Our school sponsors a Chess Club in the CYC program. Our team is comprised of 3rd-8th graders who compete against children (at same age levels) from other CYC chess teams.
